I presented our paper at The 4th World Conference on Explainable Artificial Intelligence in Fortaleza 🇧🇷
I presented our paper “Legal Obligations for AI Explainability: Open Questions on Technical Methods” at The 4th World Conference on Explainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI-2026) in Fortaleza, Brazil. The link to the open-access paper is coming soon…
You can view the presentation slides here. This work was in collaboration with Prof. Karen Yeung and Paul Waller, originally funded by the European Lighthouse on Safe AI (ELSA). See the project details here.
It was a great opportunity to share this work with the wider explainable AI community and connect with other researchers working across the technical and legal dimensions of explainability. It was the biggest compliment that other legal scholars in the room thought I was one of them!
